Hope everyone is enjoying the remainder of their summer before school start. Just a reminder first day of school for all students (returning/new students) is on Tuesday, September 5th at 9:00 to 10:00 (one hour only). Students start full day on Wednesday except for new Kindergarten students who have a gradual entry calendar for September.

Welcome back to school. We invite all parents to join the PAC for a meet & greet in the library at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 12. We look forward to seeing you there.
The purpose of the Meet & Greet will be for parents to have a chance to reconnect with each other and for new parents to meet others in the community. Ms. Robertson will speak about the upcoming year and members of the PAC Executive will provide information about the PAC. Information about elections and the budget will be discussed at this meeting. Coffee and treats will be provided. Please come out and join us!
All parents are part of the Parent Advisory Committe and we encourage everyone to attend the meetings. Our first PAC meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, September 28th from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the library. At this meeting, all parents vote for members of the PAC Executive. The PAC Executive positions are: Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary. Each position can be held by two people. The PAC plays a crucial role in the school with supporting the school and fundraising. PAC also organizes special events throughout the year. We’d love to have you join us to learn more about the PAC and become involved. If you have any questions about the PAC, please email McBrideAnnexPAC@gmail.com – Childminding is provided by the PAC.
The school will be a hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Tea on Wednesday, June 8 from 11:00 – 12:00 in the library to show appreciation to all parents and family members who have volunteered this year. Tea and treat will be served.

A reminder that on Wednesday, March 9 and Thursday, March 10 students will be dismissed at 2 pm due to Student led conferences taking place on these days.
